They might be useful at the start, but I believe that trust or interest in working together is created consistently, moment to moment, when you're ready to connect.
With that said... feel free to read below, trust your gut + take your time when choosing to possibly work with me.
Marie

I have had the privilege of working with Marie for several years in a Children's Hospital where she serves as an operating room nurse for pediatric neurosurgery.
Although the operating room can be a high-pressure and stressful environment, her calm demeanor, positive energy and experience help bring focus to the room.
She also has led a group of neurosurgeons through a breathing and mindfulness exercise to help us cope with loss.
Marie is truly multi-talented and we are fortunate to work with her every day!
I have had the pleasure of working with Marie on notably a funded grant proposal: “Feasibility, Acceptability, and Preliminary Effectiveness of an Embodied Radical Healing Intervention for Racial Trauma.”
She was essential in the integration of embodied healing (e.g., trauma-sensitive yoga principles) and a psychological framework within the shared yoga space.
Participants have shared how they have gained more self-awareness in how to feel into their bodies + listen to those feelings over time.
Marie is a humble soul with lived experiences that make her well-attuned for trauma-sensitive yoga + I look forward to the opportunity to work with her again!

I am a nurse in the operating room and also help lead the Periop 101 RN orientation program for MHealth Fairview.
Marie provides us with an effective therapeutic exercise intended to help work through the stresses of learning a whole new world within their career, while still balancing home life.
These skills can be implemented almost anywhere, at anytime making it truly accessible to even the busiest human.
I hope to continue to collaborate with Marie!
Marie is a true professional who provided a great service to our teams.
We worked together offering a stress-relieving activity to St. Paul's Department of Safety and Inspections (DSI) + City Attorney's Office (CAO) respectively.
Folks really appreciated Marie's knowledge for on-the-road, in-office, and overall work stress relief wellness techniques.

Marie works from a trauma-informed approach to offer yoga as a healing method for all body types. She has a grounded, calm presence and offers a lot of options for people to practice with.
We worked together on a Somatic based TCTSY + Radical Healing study with the University of MN, and the initiative was amazing!
She did an outstanding job where the participants were engaged and seemed to benefit from each session I attended.
I did as well.
Marie initially approached us as a TCTSY student + suggested we consider her final project as an actionable form of self-care for our facilitator community.
This monthly TCTSY class led by leadership, to support facilitators + their collective work, has been implemented ever since!
Facilitators who attend find the sessions valuable both as a means of self-care + also as a means of reinforcing their embodied understanding of the strength and impact of the TCTSY model.

Speaker Session Feedback
Your stories/voice let me accept and feel ok to talk about my stressers/ptsd. There are things I can do to be my own nurse. I truly appreciate you for sharing while being you! being real!!
Working in a level one trauma center, I am exposed to stressors that take a toll on me that go unnoticed. The strategies from this session can help me to identify these and address them.
Excellent speaker- makes me see a lot in a refreshed perspective.
